Inventor and pioneer of a creative, precision-based razor-cutting method, Nick was raised in Manchester, England, and began his career as a Vidal Sassoon apprentice. His talent quickly made him Vidal Sassoon’s youngest Creative Director, leading to roles with Wella in London and later as Director of Education at Bumble and bumble in New York, where he refined the technique he’s now known for. In 2001, he opened ARROJO Studio in SoHo, which has since grown into ARROJO Education, ARROJO Cosmetology School, and a professional product line – now the leading independent hairdressing brand in the U.S. Over 30+ years, he has received numerous honors, including Behind the Chair’s Stylist Choice Platform Artist of the Year, and the Global Salon Business Award for Salon Entrepreneur of the Year, and his work has appeared in fashion magazines around the world.
