This season the staple bun has been seen paired with a chunky face frame for a modern edge. Just make sure the front pieces aren’t too long or they will pull the style and the face down. To keep it light and airy, I find starting the shorter pieces somewhere between cheekbone and jaw length, then tapering out from there works well.

Gone are the days where brides feel pressure to “grow their hair out for their big day”. When I say there are no rules, this includes brides with above shoulder length hair. You are allowed to be YOU on your day, in fact I encourage it. I’ve even seen brides come for a trial with long hair like they are a square peg trying to fit in some kind of bridal hair round hole and decide to cut their sharp bob back on the morning of their wedding. I say go as you are and blow them all away!
