30 days of hairstyle challenge is trending all over TikTok and Instagram in 2024. The point is that influencers commit to giving new hairstyle ideas to their audiences over a span of 30 days. Many of them are pretty great, and if you fancy some inspiration, have a look at what’s in store and discover some of the brightest ideas from this popular trend.
Tina Prokas, a London-based skincare, beauty and hair blogger has started a new series where she gives quick hairstyle inspiration “for busy days when you have no time but still wanna look cute”. Here are our favorite styles from the list.
Delicate braided details are big right now and if you want to jump on the trend, do it with this detailed Tina’s video. She starts by applying hair oil to reduce frizz and for that ultra smooth finish. Then the blogger makes two side braids at the front and brings each of them to the top to join into two ponytails. At the end, Tina makes two more brides at the sides adding more detail to the look.
Maybe 5 minutes won’t be enough to accomplish this look but it’s totally worth spending some extra time to make it perfect.
Embrace the ‘90s aesthetic with a side part and a flicked ponytail. You are going to need plenty of hair gel and some hairspray too. If you struggle with those sleek hairstyles, try using a fine tooth comb – it’s a game changer.
“It looks so good and it’s really easy!” – says Tina and we can’t argue, she’s killing it again. Do you want to give this hairstyle a go?
Make a low ponytail and tie the second hair band about 3-5 inches below. Then divide the end into two equal sections and fold the ponytail, so that the second elastic band is placed right under the base of the ponytail. Here’s your chignon. Next, you tie those two sections together using an elastic – you will end up with a hair loop just on top of the chignon. Twist it, fold it down and pull the chignon through this loop. Use a few bobby pins to secure the bun in place.
One-sided face framing is having momentum, and we can’t lie – we love it. It’s always nice to try something new and different. And this quick ‘save the day’ braided bun is a breeze. Just make a half ponytail, then braid and wrap – voila, it’s ready. Curl the front part or leave it straight – whatever you prefer.
If you love a high bun, this tutorial will come in handy, because it shows a technique that will allow you to create this updo in just under 10 minutes.
Make a high ponytail, and create two hair loops using hair bands. Then pull one loop through another and secure them to the base. You will get a textured and full hairstyle. Twist the side strands and pin them under the bun.
Whether you decide to hop on the 30 Days of Hairstyles challenge or not, save and try these ideas, experiment, and be creative with your hair whenever you feel like it! Combine and tweak the techniques from different videos and make your own trends.
