Kim Kardashian’s Latest Short Bangs Choice Sets the Internet Ablaze

With every change Kim Kardashian makes, whether it’s a cut, color, or style, The Kardashians star manages to set new beauty standards and inspire countless individuals to experiment with their own looks. No wonder her style choices and hair transformations are closely monitored worldwide. Kim never hesitates when it comes to shocking the public with bold transformations, but the one we definitely didn’t expect is going this short and this thick with her newly cut bangs!

Kim Kardashian appeared with a jet-black hair tied into a sleek updo and blunt bangs on Saturday night at This Is About Humanity‘s fifth annual gala in Los Angeles. Along with the heavy chains, a waist-hugging leather corset and a Chanel purse, the bangs appeared to be a statement accessory immediately making waves in the fashion world.

While Kim Kardashian is not new to bangs, these latest ones have had the most impact on the beauty’s appearance, actually leaving her hardly recognizable. This impact may be due to the blunt shape and a length that – while going past the baby bangs mark – doesn’t reach beauty’s eyebrows.

This is a wild departure from the eye-skimming wispy bangs she used to wear in 2008.

Nor is it anything close to the side bangs that the model tried in the past and revisited this June, flaunting faux side bangs to the NYC event. The flowy wet stands elegantly complemented her iconic sleek updo, we must say.

It is still not clear whether the new bangs are temporary, or Kim has actually chopped them off, but they definitely made us have a fresh look on Kim’s features and appreciate – once again – the tremendous impact the hairstyle can make on our appearance.

Neadless to say, Kim is not alone trying out the short bangs look. The previous week, Katy Perry made a real splash by her post featuring the singer wearing 50s-inspired micro bangs.
