There’s something about going to the beauty salon and having your lackluster locks turned into something spectacular. Admit it: you’ve fallen prey to spending way too much money on products to get salon style hair. We’ve all done it and we won’t judge you, but we’re here to help you not make that mistake again!
The best part about this spray is you can make it with ingredients you most likely have on hand and we’ll explain how to make sea salt spray, but if you don’t have time for that with your busy schedule we’ll also show you some other great alternative products!
DIY Sea Salt SprayIt’ summertime and that means all we really want are the perfect beach waves for both our hair and ourselves. As much as we would all love to live by the beach-we don’t. We can still achieve beach waves hair with sea salt spray.
- Tbsp of sea salt
- Spray bottle
- Tbsp melted coconut oil
- Tbsp of leave-in conditioner
- 1 cup of warm water
Tip: A few drops of your favorite essential oil will make this DIY spray smell like a dream.
Step 1: The warm water and sea salt need to be poured into the bottle. Generously shake the bottle
Step 2: The coconut oil and leave-in conditioner need to be mixed in a bowl and then put into the bottle.
Step 3: If you decide the spray needs essential oils add them at this step. Shake the bottle once more. Apply to towel-dried hair and you’ll be a beachy ready beauty in an instant.

#3: Moroccan Oil Beach Wave Mousse
Another staple for perfect lustrious curls is definitely the MorrocanOil Beach Wave Mousse and Curl Defining Cream. Now, you could just choose to buy one of the products, but you wouldn’t be getting the same wow factor as if you had both of them.

We do know one thing though and that is sea salt spray will be our first choice hair product all summer long. It means we get to take it easy, relax on a beach and look great with beach waves while we’re at it. What more could we ask for? Do you have any summer products that have become your go-to staples?
