Kylie Jenner is anything but boring—in fact, the girl is pretty well-known for her many shocking and awe-inspiring hair transformations. This week the star was spotted with some long sherbert-colored locks when she was photographed in New York on her way to the launch of her Kylie Cosmetics pop-up event.
The warm pastel “blorange” locks are rumored to be a wig, since on Saturday she made an appearance at the Alexander Wang show with a dark textured bob.
Kylie Jenner wastes no time in hair alterations and by Sunday she was already rocking some long dark extensions.
Kylie has spoken out about her love of changing her hair in the past, admitting that she first changed the color without parental agreement when she was only 16:
“After that, I’ve just had this addiction to changing my hair. It makes me feel like a new person. I love feeling different and I love leaving the house knowing that nobody has ever seen me this way. It’s hard for me to go back to different styles I’ve worn before; I don’t always like my normal short, black hair. That look makes me feel like I’m going back in time. It’s like I’m going back to that moment a year ago and I just don’t want be in that space.”
Kylie has also explained her love of wigs as being a somewhat necessary part of the experience since her hair is so damaged from the amount of dying that it’s been through. The wigs allow for an instant color change without having to undergo any damaging treatments… or lots of time spent in the salon chair. We can all agree on one thing—it’s amazing that there are any colors left that she hasn’t tried yet.
